Bergview College is to be an independent educational institution that makes a relevant and significant educational contribution to the community at an affordable cost, with a strong Christian ethos that educates leaners to become balanced, professing young Christians who would be worthy and functional citizens.
Our Mission:
- To profess the Christian faith and to promote Christian education.
- To provide optimum quality teaching to all learners and to ensure the wholistic development of learners’ talents and abilities.
- To provide a safe and organised learning environment that is conducive to learning and teaching.
- To offer education through the medium of English that will equip learners with the communication skills necessary to function in a global world.
- To provide sport, cultural, social, spiritual, and character development opportunities to ensure the wholistic development of the learners.
- To have a “Growth Mindset” that aims to keep the school abreast of the best practices in educational and technological fields.
- To establish a Bergview College community where all the role players; learners, parents, community members, school staff and school governors collaborate with each other, takes responsibility and is accountable for their contribution to the success of Bergview College.
