History of Acting Principal
- Started 08 June 2009 as a grade 4 assistant teacher.
- Studied online got degree in March 2017.
- Did advance Certificate in teaching. (Intermediate Phase) in April 2023.
- Worked closely with Mr. Pieterse from 2021.
- Appointed as the HOD of Intermediate Phase January 2022.
- Appointed as Acting Principal 01 July 2025, taking over from Mr. Pieterse who resigned 30 June 2025.

Learning Support Guidelines & Aims:
Responsibility:
The Learning Support Team (LST) ensures interventions for learners needing additional support.
The Head of LST refers cases to external specialists if necessary.
Aim:
Early identification of barriers to learning, starting in Grade 1 and no later than first term of Grades 2–7.
Support learners based on their strengths and weaknesses to ensure ongoing progress.
Learners with barriers should not be forced into mainstream without proper intervention.
Educator’s Role:
Observe learners from day one in Literacy, Mathematics, and Life Skills.
Keep clear, planned intervention programmes.
Record all observations in learner profiles and document interventions, activities, and assessments.
Follow official procedures (Circular 108/99) before considering grade retention.

Support & Collaboration:
LST, the school clinic, and other specialists assist where needed.
Parents/guardians must be informed early and remain active partners in the support process
All parent communication, support given, and evidence of interventions must be recorded.
Learners to Identify:
Those needing extra support or diagnostic help.
Learners with barriers (academic, language, physical, health-related, or emotional).
Over-age learners.
Learners struggling due to irregular attendance.
